Message from Pastor Tommy

Howdy!

My name is Tommy Russell and I am excited about leading a new church in Fredericksburg! I have over 30 years of ministry experience, in Texas, Arizona, Germany, Kosovo, and Bosnia. The path that the Lord has led me to arrive here in Fredericksburg may not have been the most direct, but I believe it was perfect!

Many have asked why I am starting a church in a place that has so many. I’ll be honest for years I have said that I would NEVER start another church. That being said I have always believed that every town could use more churches, including Fredericksburg. We have many wonderful churches here in town, but even if every church was full this Sunday we would only have 10% of the population of Gillespie County accounted for. The answer is clear, we need more churches. Not just another church, but churches willing to reach everyone! To reach those that have been hurt by the church, those that do not fit in, and those that feel too ashamed.

We want to show people Jesus and inspire them to live and love like Him! We focus on just three things, Jesus, the Bible, and Community.

We believe that this is the best way to serve people and impact their lives for eternity. It is the driving force behind everything we do.

A church isn’t a building—it’s the people. No matter where you join us, whether in person or online, we believe you’ll find friendly people who are excited to get to know you!
